Windrose Green
Clark Condon assisted in the design of Windrose Green, a 154-acre single family residential development in Angleton, Texas. To establish the overall character of the community, materials and the planting palette were meticulously selected. The community entry design included thoughtful crafting of the signage, logos, and landscaping. Multiple types of lighting were integrated, and natural light is filtered through the decorative entrance brick masonry, showcasing an intricate pattern. Over one mile of trails connect Windrose Green to amenity ponds and central park space. Residents can easily access the 1.5-acre park which features a custom splash pad and pavilion, playground, event lawn, gathering space with hammocks, and beautiful plantings that include a mix of native and adaptive species. The development’s detention ponds were enhanced with walking trails, native trees, seating areas, a lighted aeration fountain, and wildflower planting.
