Mason Park Master Plan

This much-loved, 108-acre park is located in the East End and is frequently used by the community. Clark Condon worked with the community and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department to re-imagine the park to better meet the needs of the community. Plans included reorganizing parking and sports fields to make a better functioning park while also creating community event spaces. The park also emphasizes the “heart of the park” which features a renovated community center and pool complex along with supporting amenities such as a playground and sprayground. The public was heavily engaged throughout the process leading to a well-supported master plan that is greatly anticipated by the community.
