Clark Condon provided landscape architectural design for Houston’s first public concrete skatepark which is a joint project of the City of Houston and The Houston Parks Board. Located in the shadows of downtown Houston, the skatepark is one of the largest in the country with 30,000 square feet of in-ground skating area that will allow room for 100 riders. Designed by premier skatepark designer Grindline to be able to hold national and international competitions, the free park creates a safe place for skateboarders of all levels to practice one of the fastest growing sports in the nation. The Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark was chosen as one of the nation’s best skateparks by Best of AmericanTowns in 2016.
