Cypress Creek Trail

Lakeland Village is one of four villages within the Bridgeland community. This village is bordered on the north by Cypress Creek and a key amenity for this development is the focus on nature with more than 1,000 acres devoted to the Cypress Creek nature area. The six-mile multi-use trail system winds through a canopy of trees and offers an opportunity to walk, jog, or bike along a shaded path. Wildlife observation areas offer glimpses of some of the 140 species of birds that frequent this habitat. Educational signage along the trail helps visitors learn about the environment. The trailhead for the Cypress Creek Trail is Oak Meadow Park, a 30-acre wooded park that offers a picnic area, an 18-hole disc golf course, a fishing pier on a stocked lake, and a covered pavilion with restrooms. Bridgeland amenities include more than 3,000 acres of waterways, lakes, trails, parks, and open space. The 10,000-acre community is home to 65,000 households
