Clark Condon provided an update to the First Colony Community Association’s original amenities master plan completed in 1999. The aquatics amenities assessment ultimately determined cost effective ways to provide residents with greater amenities to be enjoyed by more users.
Some sites were reprogrammed including the Aquatic Center Community Park for which we provided design and implementation. This centrally located land is the largest available park in the association and serves more than 10,000 households. Their pools were developed in the 80s and 90s and didn’t meet the current needs of the residents. Our first priority was to design a multi-generational family leisure complex that has interactive features in the pool, a zero entry pool, a lazy river, slides, a vortex pool and a separate spray pad area. The park also offers a new volleyball court and a bocce ball court nearby.
