Texas Children’s Hospital

Clark Condon worked with the design team to create a memorable landscape for the Texas Children’s Hospital Woman’s Pavilion in the Texas Medical Center. The 15-story hospital that includes a maternity center, clinic and office spaces as well as additional pediatric components. Connecting to the existing TCH campus via a two-level signature sky bridge, the ultimate site will provide 1.7 million square feet to serve both obstetric and pediatric patients on this urban site. Although it is an urban setting, the unique footprint of the building on the site allowed for interesting design components. The landscape design created lush edges along the street and garden pockets with water, lighting and seating for visitors, patients and employees to enjoy. Most recently we worked with this Client to develop a signature landscape and entrance icon at their West Houston campus.
