Springwoods Village

Springwoods Village is a 2,000-acre development coming to life in Spring, Texas in a unique ecosystem where the piney woods of East Texas meet the prairies of the Gulf Coast Plains. New roadways wind through forests and open spaces now enhanced with a linear meadow landscape covering 25 acres. Clark Condon’s team worked with Coventry Development Houston to design meadow landscapes that incorporated LID design principles throughout. The landscapes were designed to accommodate water flow, flooding, and water quality features.

Clark Condon was tasked with community-wide guidelines, including plant species selection, standard nature trails guidelines, site material specifications, community wayfinding and interpretive signage. This project won a 2016 Honor Award through the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
