Clark Condon is working with the East Downtown Management District and Scenic Houston to develop a gateway concept and streetscape plan for Pease Street between Ennis Street and Chartres Street. As a gateway to downtown Houston, this design captures the essence of EaDo and provides an iconic welcome point for Houstonians and visitors alike. The design activates the corridor with kinetic movement as the corridor transitions from a vehicular scale near the freeway to a more pedestrian-oriented environment. Gardens, art installations and signage will tie the identity of the corridor together for a cohesive look that leaves an impression.
