Clark Condon is working with Hines, Ivanhoé Cambridge and architecture firm, Pelli Clarke Pelli on Texas Tower, a 47-story, one-million-square-foot office tower in downtown Houston. With a user experience central focus, the project will be built to the highest standards for sustainability and design.
Organic paving patterns with flowing lines will lead people to the main entries adjacent to the iconic urban pavilion. Multiple outdoor dining spaces provide flexible seating options surrounded with warm tone materials and native perennial plantings. The entire site will be 100% irrigated with recycled water from AC condensate and rainwater.
Texas Tower amenities include a 12,600 square foot tenant-only green roof featuring a trellis, stone step garden paths, raised garden beds, outdoor seating with luxury lounge furniture and a spacious event space adjacent to a high-tech conference center. The building also has a separate 12,400 square foot private green roof with ample open space for events and parties.
The tower has already earned the prestigious LEED Platinum pre-certification.
