BP Westlake Campus

Clark Condon was part of the design team for the overall beautification of the BP Westlake campus. We assisted the client with rebranding their “front door” by creating a visually dramatic pedestrian/vehicular entry and plaza. The newly designed great lawn welcomes visitors with its strong, clean design lines and materials. These efforts were compatible with the goals of the recently completed campus-wide master plan. Some of our contributions to the sustainability included drip irrigation, use of native/adaptive species and preservation of the natural forested areas. Additionally, the underground on-site detention is an innovative feature. Other projects for the site included campus connectivity, additional beautification, defining the campus edges with strong planting masses (as seen from I-10), as well as working on the landscape design associated with new building projects as they develop.
