Parkland Village is one of the four villages within the Bridgeland Community in Cypress, Texas. Clark Condon was asked to create the overall character and theme for this village. Inspired by the name “Parkland,” we created a concept that blended elements from The Emerald Necklace designed by Frederich Law Olmstead with prairie-style architecture by Frank Llyod Wright.
The result is a village dominated by park landscapes and horizontal architecture. The planting materials blend with the soft color mixture of brick and stone. This strong character influences all of the public spaces throughout the village.
