Clark Condon, in collaboration with RIDA Development and Morris Architects, is serving as the Landscape Architect of Record for this new hotel in Houston’s developing Convention Center District. We are responsible for the construction documentation, including additional detailed design, of the street-level landscape architecture and the amenity deck located on the sixth floor. The sixth floor features an iconic state-of-the-art, Texas-shaped lazy river complete with glass pedestrian bridges overhead. The amenity deck also features an event lawn, pool with infinity edge, spa, interactive splash pad, fire pits, stone veneer raised planters and an outdoor lounge. Hotel guests can enjoy the one-of-a-kind amenities with picturesque views of downtown Houston. Street level design includes special paving, street trees, lighting, planting and entry porta-cochere.
