Clark Condon was part of the design team working on the campus master plan and Phase III development . As a part of this effort, we redesigned the landscape from Phases I and II of the campus to better reflect Shell’s mission. The design vision is to create outdoor environments and places that will be extensions of the buildings where people can gather in small groups or attend campus employee “town hall” meetings. Shell’s Wellness Program promotes exercise in everyday life. Our courtyard water feature and extensive roof deck are amenities that encourages pedestrian and outdoor activities.
The design enhances the natural beauty of the site by including native grasses, planting and wildflowers, reforestation, replanted detention ponds, less manicured turfs, courtyards and seating nodes, trails, pedestrian connections, entry waterfall and rock feature connecting the ponds and a warm palette of natural stone paving. This project is currently seeking and looking to achieve LEED Gold certification.
